"Blessed is the man... [whose] delight is in the law of the Lord." (Psalms 1:1-2)
In order to join with my students in some common activities during these weeks apart, I plan to issue a few "challenges" for those who are interested. Here is the first: reading the psalms.
I intend to spend the coming weeks reading through the book of Psalms. I will work through them at the rate of four per day: two each morning, two each evening. I began with the first two this morning. This should let me work through the entire book roughly over the course of the remaining semester.
I invite any of you who are interested to join me in this endeavor. If you're so inclined, drop me a line (or comment on this post) letting me know that you're reading the psalms together with me.
More challenges coming soon.

"Give heed to the voice of my cry,
ReplyDeleteMy king and my God,
For to You I will pray.
My voice You shall hear in the morning,
O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up." Psalm 5: 2-3
Whoever you are--glad you are reading along!
